☀️Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves and fade their vibrant colors. A spot near a north or east-facing window is ideal.
💧Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Use distilled or rainwater if possible, as it is sensitive to the chemicals in tap water.
🌡️Temperature: Thrives in warm temperatures, between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
🌫️Humidity: Loves high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly, place a humidifier nearby, or use a pebble tray with water to increase humidity around the plant.
🪴Soil: Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix. A mix designed for tropical plants or African violets works well.
🍽️Fertilizer: Feed every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding in the fall and winter.
✂️Pruning: Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Trim back leggy stems just above a leaf node.
